A track by SHAPE artists Orphan Swords has been chosen to soundtrack Belgian fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck’s autumn-winter show WOEST. Watch a video of WOEST below.

On January 20, notorious Belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck presented his new Men’s RTW Fall 2016 at the Paris Fashion Week. He chose “woest” (“furious” in Dutch) as the theme for this collection. According to Vogue, Van Beirendonck wanted to express rage: “I’m a pacifist,” he stated. “But really, I want to punch someone in the face.” The agitator? How screwed up the world is right now, and how the politics of world leaders are to blame. He threw in a few expletives for good measure, “to hammer home his anti-establishment point”.

Quite aptly, for the soundtrack of the show Van Bereindonck chose a track by Brussels-based dark techno duo Orphan Swords, remixed by Icon Template. This track is part of the License To Desire Remixes EP, released late 2015 including remixes by Helm, Prostitutes, Svengalisghost, Black Rain and the aforementioned Icon Template.

During 2016, Orphan Swords are participants of the SHAPE platform.
