Host Noëmie Vermoesen presents the program of Maintenant Festival 2016 in this special Resonance FM broadcast. Tracks by Pearson Sound and Aurora Halal are featured alongside pieces by SHAPE acts, including Klara Lewis and Masayoshi Fujita.
Maintenant festival, organized by Electroni[k] organization, presents from 7th to 16th October 2016 a snapshot of artistic contemporary creativity in visual arts, musics and new technologies. Since 2001, Electroni[k] has been developing a project dedicated to the contemporary creation in the fields of sound and image, focusing on multi-disciplinary and innovative projects. The early ambition of the organization was to promote electronic arts through live shows, performances or installations. It now has broadened to other disciplines like graphic arts, and other aesthetics like contemporary or electroacoustic music, while asserting its singularity.
This year’s line-up includes, among others, Andre Bratten and Pearson Sound as well as several SHAPE acts: KABLAM, Nonotak, Jackson, Masayoshi Fujita, Klara Lewis, 9th Cloud & Cyril Meroni.
Former host of weekly show Track/Narre on Rennes radio Canal B, Noëmie Vermoesen has now joined the Cashmere Radio team with her monthly slot Fictions, broadcastig from Berlin. She is currently based in the German capital where she writes her PhD thesis on house and techno criticism. She knows the festival and the team since several years.
