SHAPE+

SHAPE+ is a European platform for innovative music and art. It is artist-oriented, and, every year, it creates a selection of  exceptional emerging talent via open call and curatorial voting, to then foster their careers with performance invitations, collaborative residencies, commissions, seminars and networking events. SHAPE+ consists of non-profit venues and festivals, and is co-funded by the European Union and, as of July 2024, Pro Helvetia.

Note: SHAPE+ is not a funding body, and  cannot provide support to artists not in the roster, nor organizations outside the current list of partners. You may reach out to one of the Creative Europe Desks or visit the central Creative Europe page to find out more about European funding opportunities.

SHAPE+ currently consists of 15 partners in 15 countries with plans for further expansion, while adopting an interdisciplinary approach and committing to social and environmental awareness.

SHAPE+ is a three-year initiative co-funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.

The project is open to artists, based in the EU, as well as the countries that are listed in this document.

SHAPE (2014-2022)

SHAPE+ builds upon the previous SHAPE platform, which from 2014 to 2022 supported 336 emerging European artists and presented their work at festivals, events and venues in numerous countries across Europe and beyond. It has also been supported by the Creative Europe programme of the EU.
