Franka Marlene Foth is a choreographer, performance curator, film- and creative director from Berlin focusing on fulfilling the intricacies of dance as a primary art form, traversing high culture through the vision of a multifaceted artist; aiming to create a dialogue that shifts the perception of movement into a narrative.
FMKF is an artist collective founded and led by Franka Marlene Foth. The collective stands for versatility, artistic exchange, the advancement of dance in contemporary arts and dancing for the sake of it.
FMKF embodies the exceptional synergies of mutual and shared mindsets that kinetically absorb the process of collaboration and exchange. The scenarios developed by Foth are characterized by a high auditive and visual impact. Juxstaposing a multitude of artistic disciplines they question the codes of contemporary- and performing arts. Their genre-defying creations and choreographic works cover film, video, installations and live performances that always call attention to the performing body.
Music and sound play a central role in the work of FMKF.
