SHAPE ARTISTS PRESENTED:
Recalling the festival’s origins in Āgenskalns, on 16 September at 18:00, a free Skaņu mežs opening concert will take place at the refurbished Āgenskalns Market. It will feature performances by Iranian musician Ata Ebtekar also known as Sote, the duo of drummer Chris Corsano and saxophonist Lotte Anker, Ukrainian electronic music producer NFNR (Neither Famous Nor Rich) and Cannes Film Festival award-winning film score composer Martin Wheeler.
